  • Community Together

    Building a Community of Family Support by linking human resources, sharing information systems and providing education & training to empower all families in the eight-county metroplex.

  • Local Investment Commission

    The Local Investment Commission is a citizen-driven community collaborative involving efforts by the state of Missouri to work with neighborhood leaders, citizens, business, civic and labor leaders to improve the lives of children and families in Kansas City and Jackson County. Recently, YouthNet teamed with LINC, the Kansas City Missouri School District and the Francis Family Foundation to serve as the coordinating organizations for the KCMOSD Extended Day program.

  • Metropolitan Community Colleges

    The MCC District includes four colleges and nine locations in the Kansas City, Missouri area, providing quality, low-cost education, and over 70 career or transfer degree programs for 18,000 students. YouthNet frequently works with MCC staff in the implementation of the Youth Worker Certificates.

  • Partnership for Children

    The mission of the Partnership for Children is to raise powerful new voices to speak out for children in Greater Kansas City. YouthNet has partnered with PFC to provide on-site technical assistance for afterschool sites in the Network of Opportunity Afterschool Program. This program is designed to provide financial and technical assistance to improve the quality and capacity of afterschool programs for middle school age youth in Clay, Platte, and Jackson counties in Missouri.
